Over the past few years, I gained some weight- going from my 130 lb 5'5" phisique to ~190 lbs. wow! For the past 6 months or so I have started researching weight loss and nutrition as well as meeting regularly with a nutritionist to talk about goals and solutions. I started on them, but either didn't follow through or failed to lose weight inexplicably to my nutritionist... SO- it starts now- implementing all the changes I researched, commenting on their success/difficulty, and ultimately losing weight. My goal weight is 140 lbs.
Due to my epic dieting failure in the past, I've come up with a new plan that suits me much better. I LOVE cooking and creating new food. Its one of my favorite pastimes/hobbies. Also- buying local, organic food is a mantra in Charlottesville, where I live, so I plan on combining these two themes to make a diet and lifestyle pattern that suits me.
I am currently deciding w/ my husband whether I am going to do this through weight watchers or to do it on my own along with stress management and meditation like the gabriel method. I will probably make a hybrid of both- because I believe that both stress and the routine of dieting make a big impact on the effectiveness of dieting.
It starts now- follow me on my way to "RUNNING OUT OF ME" and encourage me on my journey to a smaller me!
