Week 3: Day 2

Yesterday went well, I had 20 points total for the day. This morning, the scale said 164.2 so it's going down a little. I've committed myself to having a "magical" week this week and following the plan to a "t" until next week. I'd LOVE to be under 162 for my birthday.

Week 3: Day 2

Weight this morning was 166.6- not good. I think I'm going to show a gain this week. Eeeee- My goal is starting yesterday- to have the best week and a half possible. I have 9 days until my birthday and I'd like to loose ~3 lbs by then!

Week 2: Weekend

I tailgated for the UVa game yesterday and spent 73 points! In one day!! Its a good thing I have 49 weekly points!!!!! Wowza. Back on it today though!

Week 2: Weigh In

I weighed in this morning and am down 1.6 lbs! For not being the best this weekend, I think it went pretty well.
WEEK 2: 164.4 lbs, -1.6 lbs / 4 lbs TOTAL

That's about a week and a half on the diet so far, so I think the loss is good. We'll see if I can keep going!

Week 2: Day 3

Sooooo it's Day 10 of the diet. It seems to be going well so far. I have been on track the last three days so hopefully that shows when I weight in TOMORROW. The scale this morning said 165.4. Hopefully it goes down a little more before tomorrow!!

Week 2: Day 2

I feel like things are going much better these last two days. I think breakfast is a key part to succeeding throughout the day. Not that it fills me up- just that it mentally keeps me from splurging too much at lunch with the points I have "saved" by not eating breakfast.

Today, I had 20 points, and felt full all day. I started off with a glass of 1% milk with grapes for breakfast, had my santa fe chicken salad for lunch, and even went to bdubs for dinner and stayed op. The naked tenders are only 43 calories each! I just subbed the fries for carrots and celery.

Hopefully today and yesterday pay off when I weigh in.

Week 2: Day 1

Yesterday went fairly well. I had 28 points of food. When I weighed yesterday the scale said 167.4 lbs. Eek! This morning when I weighed it said 166.4 lbs- better, but still higher than last week.

Week 2

Today's the first day of week two and I'm trying to kick it off to a good start. The last few days of week one didn't go so well. I ate way too much chex mix last night (23 points of it)! Hopefully I can overcome the mistakes over the next four days before my weigh in. I didn't go over on points or anything so that was good!

Week 1: Day 5

I overdid it on points today, but not by much. Matt and I went to the Avett Bros. concert and I had a few beers so my points total for the day was 31-32. Alcohol on the pts+ program is no joke.

Success: Week 1 Weigh In

So I weighed in on Day 4 of my weight watchers plan. I'm down 2.4 lbs!

WEEK 1: 166.0 lbs, -2.4/-2.4 TOTAL

I'm not sure what I think about weighing in on the fourth day of my weeks, but it didn't throw me off as much as I thought it would. I'll just have to see how next week goes.

Week 1: Day 3

I'm on day three and it didn't go too well today. I had 31 points, but not of quality food. I worked for 12 hours today which made things difficult. What really messed me up was that we had our staff meeting catered by Raising Cane's- fried chicken and french fries. I ate a small portion, but still ended up having 13 points for dinner and not feeling satisfied. (Not to mention, it made me a little sick.)

I did have a great greek salad for lunch which made me feel great and gave me a lot of "filling food" icons on my iphone ap for the day!

I am going to weigh in tomorrow morning at 10am. I'm not hoping for much since I will only have been OP 3 days, but we'll see how it goes.

New Beginnings

I joined weight watchers again last week! I really had to bite the bullet. After nearly 3 months out of town over the course of 4 1/2 months, I needed to buckle down and lose the weight I put on and more. This time, I'm updating just for myself.

I signed up Thursday the 9th and weighed in at 168.4 lbs. That is about 13 lbs up from my low in April, and about 3 lbs more than my post Scotland trip.


Even though I picked up everything on Thursday and weighed in, I decided not to start until Monday- my previous weigh in day. I needed the weekend to prepare for my restart and to learn the new points plus plan. I was pretty nervous restarting, but I think I'm getting the hang of it.

I've spent two days on the plan so far. Monday I used 20 of my 29 daily points and today I have used 17 of my 29 daily points. I am still trying to get the hang of it.
