Hello, everyone!! I've been a busy bee lately while I've been away from here. I FINISHED MY THESIS!!! I defended last Thursday and have been celebrating pretty heavily since. I also had a paper published last week which was exciting. You can call me Master Casey now. ;) I'm pretty flipping excited.
Honestly, the time off writing and tracking my food was refreshing. I visited my sisters in SC, I went camping, and did a lot of my own things without having to pressure myself about food and exercise because I set that goal aside. I think many of my healthy habits were steam-rolled by the many nights I worked from 8am to 3am the next morning. I'm pretty sure the breakfast ladies at Hardee's recognize me now. However- despite the relaxed eating, I did find time to do my longest run ever of around 6 miles. Hell yeah! (I couldn't walk for like 3 days, but that is unimportant.)

Its going to take some work, but I'm diving back in to my food monitoring for weight loss. My current weight is 158.0 lbs which is up 2.2 lbs from when I last weighed.
I have a feeling this is going to be difficult getting back into the swing of things. I have a lot going on at work right now and will be working well over 40 hrs a week for the next 2 weeks at which point I graduate and then go to Scotland for nearly two weeks for my best friend's wedding! Over the weekend, I decided that if I waited for normalcy to return before I dove back in, I would be waiting around for quite a while.
