4hb: 1st weekend and binge day

So part of the four hour body, includes one day a week where you take off the diet and do whatever you want. I went a little overboard and felt sick trying to eat all of my no no's that I don't get durning the week, but Ferris assures that it shouldn't hurt anything and to go nuts if you want....we'll see.

4HB- Week 1 so far

I feel like I've eaten a lot of food- but not particularly anything I crave. I've cooked more meat this week than I normally do in a month. Just from estimating each day, I am eating ~50-60 ww pts+ each day...approximately double what I should be having. I was out of weekly points on Wednesday.

So far, it seems to be going well. Could be water weight. I'll post on Monday. I was so worried I would gain doing this bc I am estimating I'm eating close to 2,500-3,000 calories a day. eeeeeeeeek! So far no gain though. Tomorrow is the free day and I'm a little nervous.

4HB: Day 1

It is really clear that I am addicted to sugar. Wowza. I want carbs so badly and it is coming out as crankiness and stress. Chemicals are all off.

I had egg whites for breakfast 1pt+.


Chicken, pinto beans, romaine, avocado, and tomatoes for 8pts+.

16 oz. Diet Coke. Saving Grace. 0pts+.

4HB

I read ~ 150 pgs of the book over the weekend. I am still doing my research but this doesn't seem promising. Plus...I am cranky and its only been 7hrs. http://www.fourhourbodycouple.com/2011/12/05/do-women-actually-lose-weight-on-slow-carb/

Week 11: Day 1

I didn't follow plan this week. I feel like I am plateaued. Maybe it's motivation, maybe its self-sabotage...I'm not really sure. I spend three weeks losing then two weeks gaining, and so on. In the big scheme of things- it is still loss, but not motivating loss. I haven't gotten anywhere in 11 weeks that I haven't been before. 

I'm going to try 4 hour body. Oof. Matt is doing it so I'm going to follow it for 2 weeks solid and then decide how I feel about it. BUT I'm going to track ww points too (when I can). I think the strictness will help me focus because I have been so unfocused on food lately. Its really been a struggle.

Week 11: Day 1

Monday was back to work. I was tired basically all day, but it was fine. I had Bodo's for breakfast. I had an egg white, ham and cheese bagle for 15pts+. No picture.

I had a mint for 1pt+.


I had steamed broccoli with a little cheese for lunch for 1pts+.

I went to my WW meeting very late. I missed most of the meeting because I had to work late, but I still went. I was up 3.2 lbs. oof. Back to work today!

I had a mediteranean salad for dinner with bread for 7pts+.

I stole a few of Matt's chips for 1pts+.

I had 1/2 a skinny cow cookies and cream bar for 1pt+.

Week 10: Thanksgiving

Matt and I went up to visit family for Thanksgiving. It was a lot of fun, and I didn't track while I was gone. I sat down this morning and estimated what I had. I was probably better than I might have been in the past over a holiday, but after adding everything up- its not going to be a surprise when I am up tonight at weigh in. After estimating totals for all of my points, I used 83/45 of my weekly points! Wowza. I found a lot of the totals surprising because I thought I did pretty well about moderating myself...I hardly ate a whole piece of anything..I could have a bite of pie and be done- or just a half a cookie, etc. I didn't want to miss any of the Thanksgiving and wedding once a year dishes. But those bites apparently add up...and from my graph of pts consumption from WW, I think once I got off track, I just stayed there.



Although I went over, and that certainly wasn't my intention, I did make some progress toward my goals and staying focused while I was gone. I ran two days I was gone, and made an effort to get outside and walk on the other days, so I earned 17 activity pts! The most yet. More importantly than my activity pts was the fact that I could jog 3 miles without stopping, and really without being very tired. My muscles were soar all week from the hike, but I can tell I'm getting stronger. 

So as much as I am not looking forward to weighing in today, I am ready to be back on track!

Week 10: Day 2

Tuesday was a doozie. Ten hour days leading up to the holidays are killing me, yo. I had an omlet for breakfast for 3pts+.

Matt and I went to Sticks for lunch to discuss our travel and prep plans. I had chicken marsala soup (~1/2 serving), pita bread, and hummus for ~14pts+.

For dinner, I had about 1/4 - 1/3 of this salad for 2pts+.

I rushed through packing and stuffing these bad boys so that I could drop bear off at Chris's and have a few beers before bed. I had 3 light beers for 11pts+.

Week 10: Day 1

Monday was a long, but pretty good day. I had a 3pts+ omlet for breakfast.

I had fettuccini alfredo for lunch for 6pts+.
I had a Mediterranean salad from Brixx for dinner (with all of the Mediterranean food I've been eating, I'm thinking Greece could be a good retirement locale.)  for 3pts+ with bread 3pts+ and a small slice of thin crust pizza 4pts+.



I went to my WW meeting after work and weighed in at 161.2 lbs for a loss of -1.0 lbs. At 5'5", I am closing in on a healthy weight. ~10 lbs away! Maybe I can get there by New Years?? The meeting topic was about managing stress, so it was good for me to listen to the strategies we can use to combat it- especially right before vacations- I find I'm more stressed around vacation time than any other because I worry about work and what I'm missing! It doesn't really make sense, vacation = relaxation, work = stress. 


I spent the rest of the night making baby shower invitations. My best friend is due in February and our girl group is throwing her a shower over the Christmas holidays.
