Long Day. Tue W41.

I hope everyone's week is getting off to a good start like mine. I have been working like crazy and its only Tuesday!! After my post last night, I finished the 1st Harry Potter movie and went straight to bed! It was only 9:30! I am turning into a grandma. I woke up pretty early this morning (dur, because I had like 10 hrs of sleep) and went on an early morning grocery run to get some cliff bars! I had one for breakfast after Matt dropped me off at work 2pts.

The morning was pretty busy. My first student is half way through his 24-week program at LearningRx. He's come so far and is doing great in the program. I can't wait to see how much he accomplishes in the 2nd half! It was a SUPER busy day at work aside from my training sessions. I didn't get to break for lunch until 2:00! I had a Smart Ones Fettuccine Alfredo Pasta for 4pts.

At the end of the day, I started working with a new student. He is high functioning autistic. It was a little challenging at first, but we got into a rhythm and I think he is going to do really well in the LearningRx program and I'm excited to see how he benefits from it. I know he'll grow through the work and cognitive training and I have a feeling I'll grow in the process.

After work, Matt picked me up in our spiffy rental car, a 2011 Senata (our car is in the shop). For dinner we had fiesta chicken and rice bake 6pts. Unfortunately, I had to miss yoga today because of my new training schedule. I haven't quite found an alternative to my twice-weekly yoga sessions, but I'm working on it.

...while watching the second Harry Potter movie. I realized I wasn't really hungry, but I needed some more points for the day. I made myself a pb&j 4pts and had a few pretzels 1pt.

I almost didn't want to eat anything else, especially since I wasn't hungry, but 12 points for the day is pretty much unacceptable. I really want to have a bit loss this week again, but I don't want to do it in an unhealthy way. Gotta balance everything, right?

    when i'm busy at work i find i don't eat at much either, but good for you on getting your points in!
