New Recipe Thursday

Its been a great day today. I started it off working with a student early this morning. I brought an apple in to work for breakfast, but my boss brought in dunkin donuts for the office! I looked up the calories and stuck with my gala apple 2pts (80 calories).

Work was pretty busy. I had another Lean Cuisine Steamer for lunch. I had their Mushroom Tortelloni for 5pts (280 calories). It was DELICIOUS!

You totally need to try these! So good!
I baked some ww cookies last night. ~20 calories each and 1pt per 3 cookies! I had 3 for a snack and 60 calories. I modified the recipe a little so that they would be worth less pts (used light butter, light brown sugar, ff egg beaters etc).

One of the students brought ginger bread cookies into the center. I had one for 2pts I am guessing and 104 calories.

After I got home, I hit the gym even though I wasn't really in the mood. I did 50 minutes on the elliptical (a little over 5 miles) at a decent resistance, keeping my HR at 165 or above for +7 activity pts. The readout said 650 calories burnt, but who knows how accurate that is.

For dinner I tried a new recipe from Gina at Skinny Taste. Pork Chops with Mushrooms and Shallots for 4pts and 180 calories. I had a slice of low cal toast with light butter 1pt (60 calories), and 1/2 and artichoke with lemon sauce 1pt (20 calories). Fabulous dinner!

 After dinner, I had about 6 more cookies for 2pts and 126 calories. Yum!
