I hate Cereal. Wed W29

Wednesday morning, I decided to try something I haven't had in over 3 years....cereal. I am a creature of habit. If I find something I like- I have it once a week or more, if I try something I don't like- I'll probably never try it again. I'm not sure when my hatred of cereal started, but I am pretty sure it was mid way through high school. 

Anyway, I decided I would try some of Matt's honey nut cherios for lunch with some 1% milk for 4pts. Terrible idea. The first few bites weren't so bad, but by the 3rd or 4th I just felt gross. The cereal gets soggy, the milk gets sweet, you can't keep the little effers in your spoon- overall a frustrating experience- not to mention it upset my tummy. Note to self- don't try new things ever again. :)


I spent the morning working on my thesis research in the aerogel lab. Ew. Matt and I decided to spend a gift card we had to Red Lobster for lunch. I wish I didn't have to record everything I ate there!! We got an appetizer of artichoke lobster dip- looked this up no joke 1200 calories. HOLY CRAPOLA BATMAN!! Sooo a little less than half is still ~10pts. For my meal, I had a salmon BLT and fries 4pts. I didn't eat the sandwich because I was too full. I also had 2 1/2 pieces of bread 5pts. AHHHH! 19 POINTS FOR A MEAL AND I DIDN'T EVEN EAT IT ALL!!!!
Looks like 1200 calories of awesome, right?

Sandwich- Matt ended up eating it for dinner.

I worked at LRX during the afternoon and came home still full from lunch. I had a late dinner of granola bars 5pts and chips 3pts. Wow.

  2. I am back on the point counting wagon, and love your weight loss rewards to yourself... I am definitely going to do that. The food looks delish! I eat cereal or oatmeal usually for breakfast, but sometimes I just feel like it's a waste of four points.
